@jaxs mom Where are you? It's pointless to discuss weather unless we know where you are.
It started snowing in Albuquerque about noon today and is expected to continue all night and well into tomorrow. Windy and bitterly cold. The worst of it is supposed to be in Eastern NM, namely Tucumcari, Roswell, Santa Rosa and into West Texas. Up to 2ft of snow predicted for those cities I mentioned. They're asking people to stay put and off the roads.

Think Amarillo is suppose to get from 8 to 12. It changes every time you watch the weather channel. Haha

I do not envy you! Stay safe in the storm!
Not here in PA- we keep breaking records for warmth! And we had too many days of rain and thick fog. However that is about to change when it gets colder Monday night and they expect ice over night Mon into Tues.

I put it on again today because it's just so muggy, although the temperatures have dropped waaaaay down to the upper 50's, lol.

I'm in the Upper Midwest in WI. Part of the state has been affected by snow, and the other part, with a little rain and windy conditions.
We are supposed to be affected by this on Monday into Tuesday, but the weather personnel don't know if we are supposed to get rain, a mix of rain/snow, or snow out of it. It depends on how cold or warm it's supposed to be. I guess we'll find out then.
It has been warmer than normal for us, too, with temps. that have been in the 50's and the 40's for us. By this time of the year, we're usually in the 30's.

@hckynutjohn wrote:I don't think they called it a blizzard Thursday, winds not strong enough. I do know we had well over a foot of snow and I am still trying to recover. Think the wind needed 2mph more to reach what these "experts(?)" consider, statistically, to be a blizzard!

@hckynutjohn Clovis, NM had a wind gust of 83 mph, other places gusts of 50-60mph, is that breezy enough? Yes, The National Weather Service is describing "blizzard" conditions.
