Should hit here around 3pm. I went to the grocery store and got gas earlier. Lots of people were doing the same thing.

Just can't have nothing here in Tx. I'm beginning to wake up and learn the hard ways down here. I feel like Liz Taylor in that Rock Hudson /James Dean movie about Tx. LOL

Edna Ferber wrote the book and she had the Tx people down pat give her that.

Oh man, my husband has the neighbor using his front loader to get the 3 ft high snow drift from in front of our house. It's nuts. We have a raised foundation and a raised covered porch in front. The snow in the front yard is taller than the porch and the porch was covered in snow. My husband did shovel the porch off. 

Oh and now they are saying possibility of more snow tomorrow.

I just read online that they found a homeless man frozen to death in Lubbock. He is between 50-60. And here I was worried our power would go out, but we would have survived and just been cold. I feel horrible. This should just never happen.

Lot of those people refuse to go to a homeless shelter.

They found a homeless man dead in Albuquerque  too.   Right now at about 7:20pm the temp here is 16 degrees.  I heard this storm will affect the weather in the U. K.  WHICH is already experiencing flooding.   It is expected to impact the North Pole by raising (?)  the temp 70 degrees from - 40 to about 32 degrees.   I'd like to know what the impact of that will be.
