I don't think they called it a blizzard Thursday, winds not strong enough. I do know we had well over a foot of snow and I am still trying to recover. Think the wind needed 2mph more to reach what these "experts(?)" consider, statistically, to be a blizzard!

ours is suppose to be gusting to 60. This is the Great Plains.

My front porch latern light is suspended by chain and it's a whirly gig right now. Thinking we're gonna take that down and just put up a cup light that is snug to the ceiling. Can't have nothing in Tx. Wind blew down my windmill top, jack rabbits ate my shrubs, can't have roses, hardly rains you have to drag hoses across the yard to reach what the sprinkler system don't get.

sigh............ You have to decorate with giant boulders just bought me a 650 lb. one.  Blow that down, you freaking wind ! ROFLMAO

The way they explained it here, we are expecting zero visibility and that's why they are calling it a blizzard.

I'm in Maryland.  We had the air conditioner running on Christmas Eve.  And, we went to visit family yesterday, and they had the a/c running.

I put it on again today because it's just so muggy, although the temperatures have dropped waaaaay down to the  upper 50's, lol.

We're going to Dairy Queen tomorrow for a blizzard.

We are in the path.  The winds have been blowing hard and cold all day.  It is suppose to start raining with sleet w/in a few hours then snow at about 3:00 a.m.

Yep, looks like the nice weather we've been having is over for awhile!

We have hail, snow should be here soon. I'm going to bed and read and snuggle up with the kitties.
