Always, EVERY SECOND. Haven't been able to bear a silent house since a family tragedy 33 years ago.

TV is on...I enjoy listening to the news mostly but also have on TV shows at times, but it is mostly just for noise, I am not sitting and watching.

Yep- the tv or radio. Sometimes both at the same time as I read.
