Re: What type of exercise do you do?

I'm already thin/skinny thanks to genes.  No need to exercise.  If eating can be considered an exercise...whistling.gif

Otherwise I walk down several flights of stairs daily & I swim every other day.  Does that count?

Are there port-a-potties along the way for females?

Males don't need them. whistling.gif

Re: What type of exercise do you do?

7 days a week exercise bike.  2.5 hours Monday - Friday and then four hours on Sat. and Sunday morning.  I get up around three a.m., since I have never needed much sleep so instead of reading lying on my couch I read for most of my ride.   Small books for fast as fast rides. (Ice cream for dinner)

@Mz iMac,

There are four at the trailhead only. The top of the hill is less than a mile away so that makes less than two miles round trip.

Fantastic!  I can do 2 miles w/o a trip to the potty.  I am going to check that place out.  I like doing hiking stuff.

Re: What type of exercise do you do?

I belong to a gym.  LOL

Usually I go but once the first of the year hit, it's very hard for me to go right after work because it's jam packed.  So packed that you cannot even find a treadmill, elliptical, etc. to get on and so full that if you want to use weights or machines, you are standing around waiting forever.  Consequently I started going later in the evening when it would clear out which is about 8:00.  But I'm going to be honest, it's a struggle for me to get myself to the gym at 8:00 knowing it's going to be 9:15 before I get out of there.

When I go I do the treadmill then machines for my inner and outer thighs and core and on oppposite days I do only weights for legs, chest, back and arms.

Re: What type of exercise do you do?

Swim 40 laps (a little over a mile) 2x a week and use the weight machines afterwards.  I used to lift weights but stopped for many years. I tore my meniscus and when I went to PT, he said my hips were weak. Stacking strong hips over strong knees. So I went back to weight training.

I try to walk 3 days a week for 5 miles.

I loved power yoga when I did it years ago. Don't think my knees can take it now especially when I wasn't so bendy even back then. I remembered feeling very zen when I did it.

Re: What type of exercise do you do?

I am an early riser (3:00-4:00 a.m) so I read the paper first then workout for at least 1 hour to 2 hours.  Some type of Zumba daily (half hour - 45 min).  I switch off with different types of workouts (body blades, cardio blades, wonder core, body gym, kettle balls, 10, 15 and 20 lb dumbells.  When it gets light I walk the dog (weather permitting) for 3 miles.  This year has been bad for the walks.  If I do not work out, I feel sluggish all day.  All this gives me a better workout than when I did belong to a gym plus everything I do is fun.
