I walk two miles a day, Monday-Friday. Indoors at the senior center. Level, carpeted floor. My knees can’t handle hills and valleys and all that. I’m thankful to have a place to walk.
I took Gentle Yoga at the senior center last summer and really liked it. When the session ended, I started Zumba, but somehow along the way, I hurt my knees. So no more yoga or Zumba for me right now. Walking only.

It's not something you do without training for it. First time I went up I could only make it about a third of the way. Now when I go up there, seems like I'm still a slow-poke compared to the runners who pass me by! Some the runners look like they could be in their 70s or possibly older. amazing.

I’m recovering from knee replacement surgery I had in October so I’m just now getting back into my exercise routine. I do water aerobics 3 times a week. The rest of the time I ride an exercise bike for 15 minutes, walk on an indoor track for about a mile and do some weights machines for my arms. I don’t want to overdo it, so I a taking it slow and easy on the days I don’t do water aerobics. It’s to hot most of the year to even consider walking outside even in the early mornings so I have to be indoors.

Most of my adult life I've not been faithful in the exercise department but last year I joined a local health club. My goal is to go 4-5 times/week, but realistically it's more like 3. At first I couldn't do much at all, but now I'm riding the Life Style bike for 30 mins (close to 11 miles). After I get off the bike I have an assortment of weight machines that I use that will target certain areas. Again, in the beginning I started out just doing like 10 reps and then increased the weights and reps as I was able.
I've done the fast walking in the neighborhood and the treadmill too, but would always end up with Achilles Tendonitus so I know better than to do either anymore.
I recently discovered a "fitness" category in my On Demand so I'm going to check that out further and hopefully find some options I can do on non-health club days.

Hello @qualitygal! I mostly walk now that my joints are replaced and I CAN WALK AGAIN. For about 10 years I could barely stand let alone go on awalk suffering from osteoarthritis. I also have several pieces of exercise equipment ( like my own little gym!) down stairs I use as well. But, really I like walking best with a bit of strength training to keep My muscles strong.

Do mine at home, usually at 6 AM. My favorite is "Classical Stretch" on PBS. I also like Pilates and Yoga. Evening laps in my pool also help.
