Do you go to a gym?
Do you walk near your home or at a mall?
Do you do exercises in your home?
How about Yoga?
Do you use a machine as part of your workout?
How much time do you devote a day, or a week, or ???
I'm looking at Yoga. Have to check with my doctors first.

I do go to a gym.
I take a Power class which is weight lifting and R30 which is a spin class and a class called Pound which is sort of drumsticks mixed with Pilates. I don't do the machines because I'm little and I don't want to adjust them. Plus I enjoy the classes more. I do the weight class twice a week and the others with it during the week.
I also love to hike the woods in a park near me usually once a week.
Occasionally, I'll do a formal workout at home but I normally save it for the gym and just do recreational stuff at home like dancing or yard work.
I love yoga. My gym doesn't carry that class but I am looking to get back into it as well. I miss it.
Good luck with whatever you decide is right for you.

In the Winter, I use my Elliptical. Upper and lower body workout, and with the tv on, the time flies! I try to use it at least three times per week for at least 20 to 30 minutes.

@qualitygal, I workout at a healthcenter (gym) at least five days a week usually about 2 to 3 hours. We do cardio, Zumba, flexibility exercises, weight training, line dancing, etc. Yoga is offered but I don't do it. I walk the track most days for 2 to 3 miles. I'm not crazy about exercising but I love what it does for my health and body and the socializing that I can do there.

I swim a mile every weekday morning at our local rec center. I am not fast; I'm in the water 45 minutes. In the afternoon, I walk the dog about a mile around the neighborhood. And in the evening at home, I ride the stationery bicycle for 30 minutes.
I know I need to do weights. If my DH and I are at the rec center at the same time, then I do the weight machines with him after I swim. I just can't get myself motivated otherwise.

I used to go to the gym, but there is so much equipment I can no longer use, I cancelled my membership.
I have an issue with my back and now only do the exercises that my physical therapist recommended ... morning and evening.
And - walking. Walking is easy. I live in the city and walk a lot. I don't own a car. Even using public transportation requires me to walk to the bus or subway.
Getting exercise is no problem for me.
Yoga is something I would never participate in for religious reasons.

Facility offers full gym as well pool located in my complex. Do yoga and breathing exercises, meditation, stretching before exercise and after. Believe mixing routines makes a difference preventing boredom.
