Re: What's for dinner tonight?

@patofl   I often brown kielbasa slices with a chopped onion and bell pepper.  Then I add a couple of cans of drained hominy.  Heat through and serve.  Quicker than take-out.

Re: What's for dinner tonight?

last night we had air fryer chops wrapped in bacon.  Broccoli in cheese, he had caulif in cheese, and we had a caulif. salad.  It was really good.

Re: What's for dinner tonight?

Tonight I'm making a crock pot round roast , mashed potatoes and  dilled carrots.Usually DH cooks on Sunday so I'll put the meat in the crockpot around noon and he will do the rest. Pretty easy since the crockpot makes the meat & gravy for him.

@patofl...I love crockpot cooking....everything simmering together and I have a couple of great cookbooks with wonderful tasty recipes.

When cooking a roast or chicken though, I do it the traditional way in the oven, but I surround them with vegetables and new potatoes...so still simmering together in just one pan.

I try to avoid as many pots and pans as possible!...lol
