A quiet day as usual. Just my kids and I.  I think a small turkey breast and a small ham (DD hates turkey), stuffing,mashed potatoes, gravy and a couple veggies. Not sure of dessert. My kids would say chocolate cake. I'll make enough to have leftovers and send some home with my son.

My former SIL asked what we were doing. I said I was cooking.  She usually invites us but none of us care to go. It's 25 people at least and a lot of kids.  The last time we went we all vowed it was the last time. It was an absolute madhouse.  It was not an enjoyable day.

Hubby and I and our 7 year old grandson - and of course our doggies.  They get a special dinner on Thankgiving too.

Hubby cooks the entire meal.  I do not cook and he enjoys doing it.

I usually go out of state to relatives and enjoy the day with family and stay a week to visit.

This year, not goin' nowhere!

I'll probably cook my own turkey and MAYBE invite a friend.

And, because I've been low carb/keto since August, my menu will be different also.

I will make a turkey, some sides and take part of it to my parents. Drop at the door, and come home and eat with my dh, 2 dogs and 3 cats.

If the weather is nice, I think dh and I may take a drive and go on a hike the after noon of thanksgiving.

Not sure yet but dont think family will be getting together as we usually do. I feel sad but know it is for the best.

Different.   We usually have several friends and relatives at our house for Thanksgiving and Christmas.  This year, Thanksgiving will just be hubby, my dad, and me grilling steaks.

My husband and I are staying home.  I have informed the family and they understand.  We will be fine.

Everyone is lying low this Thanksgiving.  My girlfriend and her husband are ordering from Cracker Barrel and I decided to do the same for one.  We will be celebrating on Christmas Eve.

I'm working Thursday night.  Better-half and I are trying to decide if we want Thanksgiving dinner before or after the holiday.
