Unfortunately they tell you to get it home and try it out for 30 days. So if someone wears clothing and doesn't have it cleaned or washed it will probably go out to the next customer. In stores after trying something on it goes back on the rack for the next customer. But at least people are not wearing it or smoking in it or any of the other gross things I've seen here over the years. I think that's a big reason why I don't order clothing from them. I have ordered maybe 3 or 4 things in my 25 years of shopping with them.
I have ordered a few shoes and kitchen or home items.
I do not order much any more but I have never received anything used. But I would think they return what they can to the manufacturer and put the rest in their outlet stores.

Like QVC, most department stores will allow you to return almost any used items. QVC has a 30 day policy, many department stores are far more lenient.

I totally agree. My point was they tell you to wear it for the 30 days and lots of people must and return it uncleaned.

I do not disagree with you. I received a Victor Costa jacket with a wedding program in the pocket.
From HSN I received a wax depilatory with hair in the jar.
Both QVC and HSN claim they check returns and do not resell used items. We know this is so NOT TRUE.

Ford, I got (sent back of course) a pair of earrings that had been worn! You could tell & the way it was packaged in the original box looked like someone at the Q sent it to me exactly as it was returned to them.. disgusting..
Another time I got a jacket that had been worn and wreaked of cigarette smoke. and they have the nerve to cancel accounts when one sends back too much..

I can say beyond the shadow of a doubt that they send out used merchandise! Back in the day, I bought two D&C alpaca hoodie sweaters--one red and one charcoal. The charcoal one was fine--I still wear it! But after a few wearings, the red one developed a 'crunchy' texture on the front. CS advised me to send it back. But the red one was sold out in my size. A couple of weeks later I was thrilled to see it in stock, and quickly reordered it. Imagine my surprise when I opened the package and found my crunchy sweater had returned to me!

There are a LOT of sellers on eBay that sell QVC clothing (Returns)....that is where I buy my QVC items

I'm pretty sure they sent some of them to me---got items of clothing where the packages were obviously resealed, garment all bunched up & no tissue inside the garment like there usually is, even one where the outside plastic shipping envelope was resealed--that had to be done at QVC unless it was sent to the wrong customer! A coat had hair on the sherpa collar and the cuffs were dirty. So buyers, beware!

Wow! Sorry to laugh.

I think it depends on how "used" it is. If a garment doesn't fit (or I don't like the color, fabric, etc.), I repackage it carefully and send it back the next day, if possible. There would be no reason for it not to resold.
I don't buy cosmetics, food, or intimate garments.
