It's clear there is a group who conspire to mash the ""report"" button for any and every thread or post with which they disagree. Or if they're asked to provide sources for outlandish allegations.

You can see what happens when this group (who I'm sure are in touch via e-mail or other chat boards) all show up at once and leave once their job is done. It's hilarious.

So you have noticed too??

If you think Viewpoints is mean and rude and snarky and full of grammatical errors, check out Beauty and Fashion. It can be very scary over there. I've even seen some snarks in the Kitchen forum!

Oh please. She needs to take a look in the mirror if she wants to see rude and snarky.

She just started a thread in jewelry about Kirsten's hair FTLOG.

That game was crazy!!! How unbelievable that Koyack was standing wide open in the end zone, just waiting for that pass to get to him.

On a fashion note, I'm not really digging ND's shoes. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

LD, I think you'll appreciate this.

While I don't really ever care that threads get poofed, yesterday one bothered me because of how it was done. You could tell that someone really did not like the thread, and I suspect (Suspicion only, I know) that they enlisted some help in reporting it until it became problematic to the Q, so it was gone.

It was not controversial, it was not against standards as listed, it was not bashing anyone by any means- but one person was vocal on the thread about not caring for the subject for whatever reason.

Which thread was that? Was it the one by evelomaddict?

There is absolutely no proof you were reported and your post/thread poofed just because certain nic show up. Just because you see a nic of a poster you aren't fond of doesn't mean that poster reported you. ftlog

I think many of us have had posts disappear and we don't point fingers at a potential ""suspect"". It's one of the things that cause continuing disharmony around here.

Newsflash: You just are not that important. Neither am I.

You're exactly right, LD. I didn't recognize her nic last night, but because of what she wrote in her OP, I checked back through some of her posting history. Enough said.
