While I don't really ever care that threads get poofed, yesterday one bothered me because of how it was done. You could tell that someone really did not like the thread, and I suspect (Suspicion only, I know) that they enlisted some help in reporting it until it became problematic to the Q, so it was gone.
It was not controversial, it was not against standards as listed, it was not bashing anyone by any means- but one person was vocal on the thread about not caring for the subject for whatever reason.

I didn't see it.
Can you say what the subject was? I understand if you don't want to.
I'm just curious.

When it comes to news and current events
"The news that's fit to print"
is not the news that is always fit to discuss,
especially here,
especially nowadays,
as the biases, slants & rants
run far too, too, too DEEP.

It's clear there is a group who conspire to mash the ""report"" button for any and every thread or post with which they disagree. Or if they're asked to provide sources for outlandish allegations.
You can see what happens when this group (who I'm sure are in touch via e-mail or other chat boards) all show up at once and leave once their job is done. It's hilarious.

I can understand the other forums like beauty and fashion, kitchen, etc. because you can buy items from QVC related to those topics and discuss purchases.
I don't see any benefit to Viewpoints for them.
Hey LD, here's my VP, the outcome of Saturday's game was awesome and it was freezing cold.
That game was crazy!!! How unbelievable that Koyack was standing wide open in the end zone, just waiting for that pass to get to him.
On a fashion note, I'm not really digging ND's shoes.
