The rain from Sally has started in Atlanta

They're saying we can expect up to 8 inches of rain where I live.  I hope not.  If it comes down in too short a time, I'm concerned about our basement.

I did the grocery shopping at 7 this morning so I won't need to go out for a few days. Tomorrow, Thursday, is supposed to be the heaviest rain day here.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

As always, plan for the worst and hope for the best.

We are still dry north of the city.  Getting spit on though and the landscapers have been out all morning clearing out the surrounding area for any shrubbery that may fall into the roadways.

I have already placed my out of office image for my coworkers for the next two days...

@gidgetgh, I hate to disappoint you, but it has to move up the state of Alabama before it makes it way to GA, the Gulf Coast of AL and Panhandle of FL are getting beat!

@Hooty @Yes, I understand where the storm is coming from, I'm pretty good, actually really good with geography, but the fact remains that rain has started here.  Feeder bands maybe or just regular rain, I don't know, but it IS raining. Of that I'm certain.

One of our local meteorologists posted on Facebook a few minutes ago and asked if anyone had a headache, as our barometric pressure is dropping.  I have a headache, which started about 45 minutes ago.

Stay safe @Hooty
