just a reminder that many of the masks available on amazon right now are not to be delivered until mid june - mid july.

i also recommend reading reviews regarding quality of the masks.

@pandalady...Bless your heart, sweetie.  Yes, I have cloth masks and these will definitely be a backup for us too.  Stay prepared and stay inside for awhile longer, if you can.  Prayers and big ole southern, sweet hugs ((HUGS)) going out to you, my friend.

@sunshine45...wow, great point.  I did not know that.  The Q posted on my order that I should receive by May 18th.  That's about a month sooner than Amazon.  Thanks for posting.

I'm all set for masks.  Everyone is concerned about makes (which they should be) but what I really need is gloves.  Amazon has them for high prices but delivery is the middle of June.  I have no hand sanitizer but guess I can make my own.

@Biftu....I have hand sanitizer, but I don't have gloves either.  I guess Amazon is swapped with orders due to the long shipping dates.  Stay safe.

These masks are overpriced, and "in stock" doesn't mean they're in QVC's hands.

I put a box in my cart to see the estimated delivery, and it's "5/11/2020," but that's got an asterisk (*) after it that doesn't connect to any notes. I definitely would not count on the masks arriving by that date.

If these cheap paper masks were less than $35 a box, I might consider them, but they're single use and with tax and shipping, tacking on the cost of nearly $1.20 per grocery trip is silly. The mask is just for compliance, not protection, so a washable bandanna will do fine.

That's true, @sunshine45.  I think my date is May 15 to June 8th.  But I have a box on hand and I'm barely going out...about once every two weeks for groceries.

ETA:  Oops...I now see that your date for delivery is June to July.  I am scheduled earlier than that.  But, who knows right now, lol.  Delivery dates do change.

@Biftu  Dh and I were caught without any sanitizer or wipes. We just don't use them in everyday life. I have small bottles in my car after pumping gas. But that's it.

So we took some bottles of hand lotion,pour half of it out and added alcohol to it.We mixed it up and take it along with us. We feel like we are still getting some cleansing.We also added soap and water solution to a small bottle and wash our hands in parking lots with the solution. We have had to improvise in these sold out times.

We just received a dozen cloth masks from etsy and we have several paper masks as backup (I spray them heavily with alcohol after use so get approx 4 wearing from each).  Personally, I think we will be wearing these until they develop a vaccine, so I'm planning accordingly for my family.
