I just read he complained of chest pains. They clarified that 10 substances were found in his apartment, not in his body.

The article also said his heart weighed twice as much as a normal man the same age. It said 600 grams compared to 300-350 grams. I think it said he may have died of a Cardiovascular Event, not 100% sure of that.

This such a tragedy for his family. Only a few months ago he was inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame. His acceptance speech was so humble and genuine. He was a truly talented musician. He will be missed.

Hi @hckynutjohn  I read that too. Just so sad all the way around.

Just thinking out loud here. When anyone or a band tours, those tours are insured. Which to me, means that the entertainer/s have to keep up with doctor physicals I would assume. Wonder "if" he saw a doctor for the insurance purposes and why the enlarged heart wasn't detected?

I really have no answers. Like I said, just thinking out loud.

Poor Dave Grohl and of course Taylor's family. Very tragic.

Cocaine and other drug use can cause an enlarged heart over time.  They were in Venezuela when the death occurred.  I'm wondering how he was able to transport drugs into the country.  Just thinking about Brittney Griner in Russia right now.
