CNN reported this evening he di have drugs in his system.  This was only preliminary ... further toxicology work will be following.  He sure will be missed.  Such a great talent, well respected.  All that talent and such, plus he was known as gentle, kind, good soul and so well liked   Sniff

In a release from Attorney General's office in Bogota`, Columbia officials say  a toxicology test taken from Hawkin's urine reveal  10 different substances -- including opioids, tricyclic antidepressants and benzodiazepines. This was reported on TMZ's website.

Horrible and tragic news.  My condolences go out to his family. I think he had a couple of young kids.  Just so sad for everyone including Dave Grohl.  I can't imagine how he feels right now.  They were like brothers.   This one hits close to home.

According to what I'm reading on line, suspected drug overdose.  He was found to have 10 different substances in his body.
