@stevieb  ......  Warning ......if you keep posting this way the posters coming after me about my responses might just head your way! If they do at least I would get a reprieve from their constant sarcasm. Thank you!

@Sheila P-Burg  I've already been the recipient of a certain amount of ire... So be it... Not worried about differences of opinion here... I think we all have bigger fish to fry...

I don't see anything wrong with keeping the threads as they are right now, mostly in the CC forum OR if they want to create a specific forum for them too I think would be fine. I do agree that it would make it easier for those that don't want to even read the thread titles on this subject. Hopefully the Q will decide what is best for everyone.

Seems to me there's a big difference between what some call "fearmongering" vs.  providing "information" about a virus that is causing illness and many deaths.

No one can filter out or censor facts and truth.....both are coming out  and being reported in vivid color around the world.

We'll stay safer and healthier if we know the facts and the truth.

@SeaMaiden   This was not necessary.  The OP was just looking for some threads to enjoy and relax.

It doesn't mean she is not aware.

Some of these threads ARE overkill.  Blah blah blah-yes, I get it.  Skip over the ones you don't like

But that isn't the point.

I hope you feel better now making fun of a person who just had a simple request.

The pandemic affects all of us so that the posts reflect that and should. I like reading what others are experiencing, enduring. Community is a coming together, not unlike neighbors, clubs, or church groups, to share common interests, experiences and this virus has united us with a common interest and experience.

We can get news updates but they don't provide the sharing of individual experiences and support for one another.

@occasionalrain   The OP didn't deserve to be accused of sticking her head in the sand.

That was uncalled for.

A public forum like this is for anyone to post what they want to, within QVC's standards.

No poster can decide what can or cannot be posted, but they CAN decide what threads they choose to read.

I object to anyone who tries to silence others, everyone should have a voice.

My own view is not to suggest the 'conversation', endless as it appears to be for some, be 'shut down, nor that anyone be 'silenced' or deprived of information resources, though one would suggest primary sources are readily available, nor that anyone who feels compelled to discuss the current crisis with others on these forums be denied the opportunity to do so... All some are suggesting is that like the virus itself, we'd like to see the discussions that seem to grow daily if not hourly, contained to a specific location on these boards that does not impinge upon other topics of discussion, so that those of us who choose are not subjected to the topics or the discussion. Clearly, we all self-select participation, and although some would like to suggest its as simple as that, it really isn't when there are pretty clearly a significant handful of posters that seem compelled to discuss every aspect of the situation on an ongoing basis. Again, give it its own forum for now and be done with it.

@stevieb  ..... Has been said repeatedly. Simple solution. QVC only needs to open up a temporary forum for virus conversation only and everyone would be happy. Evidently opening up a temporary forum is not that easy for QVC to do ...... unless it has not been suggested to the right people.
