We got more than the 1 inch or less they predicted!  It's strange, I left the heat off in the house last night (just left it on in the bedroom), and the temperature only dropped 2 degrees in the house - the snow insulated the house.  It sure is pretty!  And the roads are clear!

We got just a dusting, not the 3-5 inches that was forecasted. The local TV weather people are beside themselves with disappointment. Now they're hyping the potential for lake effect snow. It's winter. In Michigan. It snows.

I love winter and I love snow, but after last year here in Massachusetts...I'm still not ready.   We only have an inch or so right now and it's supposed to be in the 50's ans be pooring rain today. Very unlike this time of year here.

I was out running errands yesterday in the couple inches we got Friday night and it was so pretty. Although we still have huge piles that haven't melted yet from the 12 inches we got two weeks ago.

We have had snow on the ground since before TG. I am sick of it.

Re: Snow Snow Snow Snow Snow

After all that was forcasted for us in NW Indiana, our anticipation of being out there late last night shoveling, we ended up with zilch!  It's about 20° colder than it was yesterday afternoon, but that's it other than the rain finally stopping.  It's going to get colder throughout the day, but it's doubtful there will be any snow today.  Windchills will make it feel very cold - sub zero.  There a small chance of getting some snow tomorrow, more of a chance on Tuesday.
