I love Scrabble.  I used to play it all the time when I had a version, on CD from Hasbro, that was exactly like the classic game,  I played against the computer and the game gave me a rating based on how I did.  I could adjust the skill level of the opponent and it had a built-in dictionary  It was an addiction.  Current electronic versions of Scrabble, Words With Friends, and similar word games, just don't do it for me.

Unfortunately, it all ended when I got a laptop that had no disk drive; the game probably wouldn't have been compatible with Windows 10 anyway.  I would love to find a replacement.

@Spurt we have a three minute timer that we use for Scrabble to keep the game moving. I know that is against the rules, but it works for our family.

Yes, we bought a timer with a bell that rings, even then some people refused to obey the rules....my sister is the prime culprit 😄
