This is not new. Why worry about it now?

Oh sure, I knew about that. It was just a little jarring to see it show up on my Facebook page as a post, not as an ad in the side bar. I never "liked" their Facebook page or anything. I just visited their website to see if it was sold in my area.

I just don't like being profiled like this. JMO.

I highly recommend the use of Ghostery to block trackers and CCcleaner to remove cookies that you don't want. Both have effective free versions that are customizable to suit your needs.

I took a class a few years back on information technology. You would be amazed about how many different ways you are tracked and profiled. Not just on the internet either. It's very scary to think of all the data that is out there about you.

That's using the facebook mobile app, and I believe you have to authorize it. Guess some people are foolish enough to authorize, I won't even install the facebook app on my phone.
