dmod mentioned how good Talenti gelato was on a thread I started about ice cream last week. So I went on their website to see if it was sold in my area. Now I'm getting posts on my Facebook page about Talenti gelato! At first, I thought it was just a weird coincidence...then light dawned and I realized that all the things we google...or sites we visit are secretly being collected and used to target us.

It's creepy. And I don't like it. ${#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}$ And now I want ice cream. ${#emotions_dlg.crying}$

sometimes i think about buying something and i swear it shows up while i'm browsing online. they can even read my thoughts. well, hopefully, not all of them. ${#emotions_dlg.devil2}$

OMG - that is THE BEST gelato ever. I buy it whenever it's BOGO and I must have at least a dozen in my freezer. I eat half a jar almost every night. I love it.....

I've been getting BMW ads on my FB page. I was looking at their SUVs because of something a friend said. I don't want one but I'm sure being exposed to them!

My edit: I looked up the gelato too, so now I'll have to watch and see if that one shows up on FB too. It's in a local market; I guess I'll be forced to try it....

Last week facebook started listening to things going on near facebook users. They say they are listening for the music you listen to or watch on tv, but why would they need that information and what else are they recording and keeping.
