Lately, I've been eating more salads, which got me to thinking, what do you like on your salad?
Me, I like
*spinich
*green onion
*red onion
*sliced black olives
*sliced beets
*dried cranberries
*sliced cucumbers
*cherry tomatoes
*sliced hard boiled egg
*broccoli
*sprinkling of shredded cheddar cheese
*croutons
and for the dressing, I love ranch, but I use an olive oil vinaigrette.
So, what do you like in your salad?

I like to add a bit of protein in the form of tuna, grilled chicken breast, or grilled steak. And a sprinkle of blue cheese crumbles is tasty.

All of the above and bacon bits especially with blue cheese dressing. Love sprouts but quit buying them for some reason -- guess it's time to revisit sprouts.

A long time salad eater here! Like various things.

Gee, and here I thought I was the only one who loves sliced beets
I like a bit of crumbled cheese on salad: gorgonzola, blue or Israeli feta. I love a salad with bite size apple or pear chunks and gorgonzola, made with a sherry vinegar dressing.
I read that some people like to put StarKist Tuna Creations on top of greens and other basics, the Ranch is a big hit. I just got a couple at the store yesterday to try, including the ranch. No dressing needed for the tuna and it's a nice hit of protein.

That's the reason I stopped getting sprouts, in fact, I don't see them at the stores anymore.
There were numerous recalls. Something about the structure of the plant etc. makes them more vulnerable to contamination.

I got violently ill from eating sprouts once. Won't touch them any more. I even pick them out of Chinese food if I can. (Though I'm hoping that the salmonella is killed when the sprouts are cooked.)
I also love craisins, pecans, and feta in my salad.
