Ah, yes Now I remember the scare about sprouts. What a shame, they are tasty.

lettuce,(s) spinach, celery, red peppers, carrots, broccoli, snap peas, green beans, Jersey tomatoes

I'll have any combination of the above with no dressing or toppings.

I don't think I've met a salad I don't like. I eat lots of salad, especially in warm weather. I think my favorites would be a Cobb salad, and a Chef salad for supper on a hot summer day is perfection. My mom would often make that for me and dad when we didn't feel like a heavy meal, and I can remember her chopping each ingredient and layering it so it looked so pretty. Also enjoy a wedge salad of just iceberg with good blue cheese and bacon crumbled on it. I love spinach, and when someone can do a wilted spinach salad with hot bacon vinaigrette it's so yummy, but I don't make that for myself at home. I have a recipe for a spinach salad with strawberries and a poppy seed dressing that is light and delicious. I like all kinds of lettuce, and love watercress and bean sprouts on my salad. Yep, I have tried really hard to think of a salad I don't like and can't come up with anything. Oh, I don't like tuna salad, but technically that isn't really a salad. {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Ranch or Bob's Big Boy blue cheese...croutons, real bacon bits, and shredded cheese.

For "every day" salads, I like spinach, leafy lettuce (no iceberg), red onions, chickpeas, grape tomatoes, bell peppers, a few chopped walnuts, a little bit of fresh parmesan cheese, and a light sprinkling of oil and vinegar or red wine vinaigrette. I sometimes like to add cucumbers, too.

For more "indulgent" salads, I love mixed greens with fruits (strawberries or man da rin oranges or blueberries), nuts (pecans or almonds or walnuts), feta or sometimes a little gorgonzola, Caramelized pears is something I've wanted to try.

I, also LOVE bean salads. Yum.
