How is this different than the cereal/oats?
If there’s anything questionable in the feed, the animal consumes
large quantities of this item...so humans are consuming concentrated
amounts of anything questionable.
Moral of the story, there’s more to...
worry about eating animal/byproducts (concentrated amts)
than a bowl of Cheerios/oatmeal (negligible amts).
Round Up is in all that Plant Based Food too plus our water. It's all over the place there is no getting away from it. If you eat, drink or breathe it's in your system.

Hence, GMOs.

@cherryYes. Along with other herbicides and pesticides.
I'd post a link but the info is out that as recent as this summer from the USGS.
I am so freaking angry at what is happening to our planet.
Yep & with who is in charge things will only get worse IMO.

That’s correct.
But the % of crops produced (Feed vs Food) is high.
I don’t have the %s in front of me...but my recall is well over 50%
of all worldwide crop production is given to animals to eat...
not to feed humans.
One animal eating lots & lots & lots of glyphosate food &
when humans eat the meat, all the glyphosate is concentrated
in the muscle & extracted byproducts.
The amount in oats, grains, etc. is minimal compared to animal products.

@Snoopp wrote:It's not only cancer we have to be concerned with. There are horrible neurological diseases that may be linked to pesticides. Do we really need this to grow our food? EU is banning it.
The soil here is already deteriorated from all the chemicals used.
I don't know how you would go about cleaning it up so we could grow safe food. IMO that's never going to happen. It's only going to get worse. The food you eat fills you up so you are not hungry but not much nutrition in what we are eating because there are no nutrients in the soil.

You would be surprised by all the people that don't have a clue plus think you are crazy when you talk about it???

For those of us that are over 60 ,lets say i think back to the time when we were growing up ,the farmers used all kinds of pesticides back then, makes me think perhaps that is one reason so many die of cancer, if one did not smoke ,or was around people that did ,i and my brother could not get away from the smoking people ,every one smoked in our family, any how just thinking.

The only thing that surprises me is that many folks seem to think the problems with Roundup are newly discovered or just being reported.
That herbicide has been under fire for years. It's definitely not news that chemical weedkillers are something we don't necessariy want in our food. The usefulness and value to agriculture and the quantity of our food supply have overridden these concerns.
