R.I.P Robin Williams, so sorry for your suffering
My favorites include:
Mrs. Doubtfire, Jack, Aladdin, Hook many more!
I think we'll be watching these this weekend in a different light now with some tears flowing.

I watched Bicentennial Man after losing my hubby and I sat there laughing and crying all the way through the movie and felt better for it.
I read an anecdote about him visiting Christopher Reeve in the hospital after that horrible accident that paralyzed him. He burst through the hospital room door wearing a scrub cap, yellow hospital gown and talking in a Russian accident announcing he was Chris' proctologist and the examination had to take place immediately. Chris said it was the first time he laughed since being hurt.
I'm sure there are many more stories like that. Perhaps someone will compile a book of antics like this that were never publicized. I hope so.

The hometown is reeling. A lot of stories coming out about personal encounters with him. He and I had the same favorite bookstore and I'd see him there. We'd look to see what books each other had. He and our beloved newsman Michael Finney had kids in the same school and Finney talked about being at PTA meetings with him.
Everyone has said the same thing, he was always out and about town and he'd talk to everyone, especially kids.
He loved our troops you know, and did the USO shows.
So much of this city is stunned, we thought he was ours and would be forever.

ETA Oops I didn't realize it was already posted. Sorry!
What a wonderful clip, thanks. It made me so sad to watch it and realize that he's now gone, but so happy that he had that wonderful experience during his lifetime.

Thanks for sharing Noel. He was loved by the world and will be truly missed. I wish I would have had the opportunity to meet him on my many trips to Marin county. Thinking about coming there Saturday visiting the home Mrs. Doubtfire was filmed.

The Mrs. Doubtfire home is in SF, at Steiner and Broadway. His home in SF was in the Sea Cliff district, that's where the Halloween parties were. Pretty sure his mother lived in Tiburon years ago, and he died in his home in that area yesterday.
He also had a winery in the Napa area, which is apparently for sale now. He had numerous homes.

It was reported that Robin paid all of Christophers medical bills, they were like brothers ever since they first met.

Sea Cliff is so beautiful,I see why he lived there out of the Hollywood area.

I was just going to ask about how. I'd read asphyxia...same cause of death of Mama Cass of the Mamas and Pappas. It's more commonly said she choked to death. Maybe that's supposed to be a (sick) joke because of her size.
Anyway, as no note was left, could it be the same for RW? Wonder how good the source for the hanging comment is.
