Beach Mom: I immediately thought the same before even reading your reply. It makes my heart sink when I see youngsters in photos, videos, etc. playing 'way out there' along the shore line, in the water. OMGosh...........They shouldn't be out there at all, without adults present. And even then, easy for a high wave to overtake a family, pets. Be careful, everyone. ............. Getting back to the beach-goers, thank goodness they were there to rescue this family. Hearts to them.

Saw this on the news and, while it's a very touching story, I have to ask ...... what the heck is wrong with these people?
Rip tide currents are VERY dangerous and people need to use common sense when swimming in the ocean!
