Kachina, I've had lots of packages delivered by UPS and they have been great!  Maybe it's just your UPS people that aren't.

@fthunt It doesn't matter what she ordered.  She could have ordered  a box of paper clips for all I care, she wants the product she ordered.  There's also money involved here.  Let me know how you feel when your next order doesn't arrive.  What you said here speaks volumnes of what you're like as a person.  It's not pretty.

@Kachina624 Thank you for your mention of potential shipping issues at Christmas--that was just the kick in the pants I needed to finish mine extra early. I work a lot of hours and ordering online really helps me get it done, especially if I'm doing my shopping at 2 a.m.

A couple of months ago I was on a short vacation that I ended up stretching into a longer vacation lol, and forgot to ask for my mail to be held. When I got home of course the box was stuffed to overrunning and one of the items was a thick card/envelope addressed to another condo a few doors down. I walked it down there and the young lady burst into tears. Her grandmother in another state had sent a large sum of CASH inside a card and they thought it had been lost or stolen. It had been sitting in my box the entire time. No idea why the grandmother sent cash but apparently they really needed the money so glad it got to her eventually.

Glad your situation worked out eventually too!

This all gives me the idea that they should have their holiday shows in the summer to make it easier on their customers and the mail delivery.  Besides that, it could be a little stress free for more involved. Just a thought.

I think @bonnielu hit the nail on the head .....it is probably the temp help and not being trained properly.

I am lucky......my UPS....USPS....and Fedex regular people are great......taking large boxes to the back door........ringing the dorrbell (gently) to let me know I have a package.

LOOK OUT when they are on vacation......I got the neighbor lady's pension check, package that was "on the truck for delivery" that got delivered the next day......

I've posted about this bfore but it fits in here with delivery issues.

Last year I ordered an item and delivery was refused the same day it was shipped.  I don't know where the breakdown was...QVC or UPS...but it was waitlisted by the time I learned it was "returned" and now it's just not available. Woman Sad

@Kachina624

Check the tracking for the one that was originally going to be turned over to USPS. They usually show you the USPS tracking #. Then track that # on Usps.com & see if it shows that it arrived or was received by your local PO. Then maybe you will at least get that one today or if it was transferred to PO @ 1:56 then you'll know that's where your stuff went.

I happen to have good luck with UPS but not Fed Ex.  In the 14 years I have lived at my house I have had FedEx misdeliver packages about 10 times.  Most of the time it is to a house with the same number as mine but on the street behind me.  Luckily  they are nice honest people who call me when it happens.  One other time it was a bunch of Nutrisystem Food at a house down the end of my street.  I called FedEx so many times to complain. Things seem OK now but as soon as I get a new driver it will start again.

The US Mail also misdelivers a lot which is bad considering identity theft and all.  I try to go paperless for as much as possible to avoid my neighbors getting a credit card bill, etc.  Once the dummy delivered a bag of mail order prescription drugs to someone in the next block and the guy opened it but brought it over and apologized.  I felt violated by the USPS because my private medications were exposed to a stranger.

And I too hate that kind of delivery where UPS or FedEx drops the package off at the Post Office.  Sheesh.  My PO is a mile from my home and both carriers are in my neighborhood daily.  It adds 1-2 days to the process and a waste of time.

Why do grown people get on here and get nasty.  I would be upset if that many packages did not show up when they were supposed to.  It is not what is in the package but being charged for something I did not get.  I order a lot on line because it is not available locally.  If I lived in a larger city, I cannot imagine going from store to store looking for a specific item.
