Chiclet if the Queens life was so easy why did Princess Diana, Sarah Ferguson and Megan Markle have such a difficult time adjusting to royal life.
Well, first, none of the three women named (and Kate) were born into that life, so none of that was "natural" to them. Second, they had a LOT less staff and servants to do things for them. There were many, many things the queen never had to do.

Lived in castles her whole life. Had four children. They talk about her life of service.....I think I could do it.
ITA with your point ..... It's very easy to do the "duty" when you have literally hundreds of staff and servants to do all the other mundane things for you.

Some people will never give the Queen credit for being the incredible woman she was.
A look at her time in the Auxiliary Territorial Service (ATS), the women’s branch of the British Army, during WWII, which she insisted on joining voluntarily, might enlighten a few.
She was given no special rank and became a mechanic. (No desk job for her!) She could probably fix your car engine, if you broke down, as she did her own, during times in Scotland.
Yes, she had staff when she became Queen. How many other world leaders have staff? Do you think they all do the "mundane" things, while attending to world matters? Of course they do!

@beach-mom I also heard that she said she hoped the LORD would come back while she is still living. She so wanted to lay her crown at the LORD's feet! This sounds like a generous loving gesture with lots of grace, speaks volumes of her character.

Probably not.

There was servants and staff for her parents when she was a little girl. Her parents never had to keep up the residences ... and neither did she, as a child or an adult.
YES, she accomplished many things in her lifetime, all reported ad nauseum. Not what I'm referring to.
What I am saying is that I seriously doubt she ever scrubbed the floors, cooked the meals, ironed clothing and prepared the kids' lunches for school. She didn't have to take time out to iron her husband's shirts, dust the chandeliers, etc. She was free to do the "important" tasks that she was known for. Sorry if my point wasn't clear.

From what I have read, that quote was attributed to Queen Victoria.
