And most of the Capital Fourth fireworks footage was from previous years! Shame on PBS.

We had excellent TV coverage of various local and somewhat distant areas around here.  Also nationwide.  My favorites were Washington DC, Orlando, and Palm Beach Florida displays.  Just beautiful, crystal clear. Heart  For whatever reason, I truly enjoyed this year's festivities, more than any other year.  

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

Private fireworks other than sparklers and other pretty non dangerous fireworks are illegal in Pa so we don't see much of that here.We were surprized when we moved to Florida how people set off big skyrockets right in their yard in a plan of homes. So dangerous.

Mine lasted till 11 thank God most people have to work so they cut it short.

I did hear fireworks over the weekend between 12a and 3a...from firecrackers to big bombs going off.  Guess there's no getting away from it...
