@dulwich I pulled in to a parking space on Tuesday in the parking lot of the bookstore where I saw the book that is the subject of this thread. The book is still there and I browsed through it again but devided once more not to buy it.

But I wanted to tell you that when I parked, in the car right next to me there seemed to be an elderly woman in a fancy hat sitting in the back seat of an otherwise empty car.  Upon closer look it was a life- sized decal stuck onto the window of Queen Elizabeth 👑 with one arm up waving as she does to the crowds when she passes by them  in a carriage. It was so real-looking, I got a big kick out of it and wondered who owned the car! 😂    I took a photo of it to post for you  here (the Q is wearing a lovely yellow suit and matching hat) but I'm having trouble  loading it from my phone.  I wish you could see it -- too funny!

@Sooner  Well that's just not possible, since I am, with @Witchy Woman  in close 2nd place . So Paul has to be at least in 3rd place as his biggest fan.

@MorningLover. Yes that is the exact one!  😄 Thanks.

I didn't write above that while I pulled in next to the Queen, I could see that opposite her, on the other back window there was a male figure whom I assumed to be Philip.  I went around to look and it turned out it was the Pope.   Being Jewish, I wasn't too excited about that one.

@dulwich. I'm glad you knew what I was talking about, since you've seen them in England. Odd to see it here in the Midwest USA.

@Sooner. Just saying there isn't much hoopla about British royalty where I live. Concern about the yields of corn and soybean crops yes, concern about Queen E, not so much. 😜

@Pearlee I know a lot about crops because my dad farmed way back when.  But we also read the New Yorker and WWW and I remember seeing Charles in a ceremony with the Queen on tv!  We actually had tv too.  People are shocked.

@Sooner. And I think we are way off topic.

So, back to the book mentioned in my OP.

I spent more time looking though it on this visit and there was too much discussion of a lot of Brit music people before my time that didn't interest me enough to buy the book.  There was quite a bit about Rory Storm and the Hurricanes, whom I've hear about through both Paul and Justin Hayward mentioning the group over the years, but there were just too many others mentioned  I'm not familiar with.
