@dulwich. Given yours and DH's involvement in the music business in the U.K. I was wondering if either of you know Sam Leach? I was browsing the Beatles books in a bookstore this evening and came upon one written by Sam Leach who claims to be a music producer from the early rock and roll days and helped make the Mersey Beat successful. He knew all the Beatles in their really early days, even before they were famous, as well as Gerry from the Pacemakers and lots of others from that era in the music business who later became famous. I didn't buy the book but looked through it and wondered if you know him (it is not a recent book, the bookstore sells used books).

@Pearlee Reminds me of a bit from I'm sure a Beatles tune, "Good morning Mr. Leach have you had a busy day?"

@Love my grandkids I'm not recalling that. From what song? If you don't know maybe @Witchy Woman or @GrailSeeker does?

@Pearlee No did not know him at all. If he was Merseybeat at that time not our area we were all London and only worked with Paul and the lovely Linda/with Wings band so before our time.
We worked with bands/groups who were then famous as a gig at Wembley stadium - where we were - only happened for the top bands - that was the main stadium at that time then we got into tours.
Sounds like an interesting book though- did you buy it?

@dulwich LOL no, said in my last sentence of earlier post I didn't buy it. 😄 I almost did though because browsing through it he was saying nice things about Paul.❤ Thanks for your response. I had a feeling it would be too early for you since you've mentioned working Wembley and with Wings. Would have been cool though if you or DH did. 😎
@hippiechick7897 Thanks. I'd hate to not have recognized the lyrics from a Beatles song!
@Marp Thanks, I'll take a look at that. I figured he was probably dead by now.
