It said I could be from Lexington, Kentucky, or surrounding area. I did my undergrad there at the University of Kentucky. It knows me very well!
Funny how I had to put "other" on a few answers or I don't have a word for that. For the record, y'all, it's called a "craw daddy." 😊
This reminds me of that movie called Cousin Vinny where the lawyer talks to the judge about the "two yoots" (youths). 😂

Same here. I had to pick other on a few too. We’ve always said crawdaddy.

Really funny I got Anchorage Alaska. I have only been there once. I have no family there. And I answered honestly and carefully. MIght have to move.

I got Buffalo/Rochester so at least it put me in the right state although on the other end.
I though a few questions were odd. I call it a tree line which wasn't an option. And the roundabout one is odd. As a kid we had one that was always called a circle. Now we have tons and they are called roundabouts. I still go with circle myself.
I also have a few things that are probably more boondocks since my mother grew up in the Adirondacks. So we called dinner supper as a kid. Now I say dinner but it all means the same thing to me but locally that's probably not true.

As a child in New York we used the word supper, as an adult I started calling it dinner. And, same as you, supper and dinner mean the same thing.

@oznell ... My results were the same as yours... Buffalo, Rochester and Aurora, Illinois (a suburb of Chicago. I had to look that up!). Buffalo/Rochester are correct but not Aurora, Illinois. For Aurora, Illinois they used the sample that I pronounce "cot" and "caught" different. I don't know if that's the only answer that pertained to Aurora, Illinois or not!
While reading all of the answers I was VERY surprised at a lot of the answers...how very different from the way I speak. Most of the sayings I've never heard before!
Thanks, @Oznell. Fun and interesting test!

Wow. I just took the test. Not only did it pinpoint my state pretty much all the way, but it pinpointed the city in which I was born, clear across the state amd mountains from where I live now and the difference between rural inland to urban/coastal

Very accurate for me.
Suburbs of Phoenix, where I've lived for over 40 years, although not my exact suburb and Rockford, IL. I was born in IL.

Mine were accurate!
