Re: Outpricing the average customer

I do get clothes from Q but it will be less now. Things I like are priced more than I consider they are worth. I started going back to actual stores and have found things that are shockingly less expensive for nicer materials.

Some don't mind the pricing and that is great. For me, I am not seeing the value.

A Looming East Coast Port Strike Could Shake the Economy

Businesses are preparing for a strike by dockworkers on the East and Gulf Coasts, which could begin Oct. 1.

Determined to thwart the automating of their jobs, about 45,000 dockworkers along the U.S. East and Gulf Coasts are threatening to strike on Oct. 1, a move that would shut down ports that handle about half the nation’s cargo from ships.

Prices might affect everyone with this strike.

Re: Outpricing the average customer

It is inflation.  I am old and have lived through it before.  We could not afford to move.  Mortages were out of sight, food was very expensive and clothing.

It is going to get a lot worse I think and life is going to change for all of us but the mega-wealthy. There is only so much us working folks can pay out and it is getting spent faster than we can make it.

Re: Outpricing the average customer

Consumers/WE, ultimately pay for Import Tariffs!!

Import Tariff Price increases ROLL DOWN HILL

(from Import Suppliers -> to Consumers (you & I)

(The (Newly Proposed) "Import Tariffs" Life Cycle)

Tariff$:   on U$A Imports get pa$$ed Downhill

to/thru:   U$A Companies/Sellers

to:            U$A BUYERS/CONSUMERS (* you & I  *)

-  Imports *DO NOT EAT* Import Tariffs imposed!

-  USA Companies *DO NOT EAT* Tariff increases.

-  USA Consumer *EAT* Tariff increased products!

Understandably, NOBODY, along the "Tariff'd Life Cycle" loses:

(except the "ultimate USA Consumer" (You & I)

who now pay more for same products)!

I think it depends on the age of the kids.

Little kid toddler clothes really aren't all that expensive which is good because they grow out of them so fast.

IMO Land's End on sale is less expensive than Q on sale. I like Land's End and shop there more and more.
