when you bid on a item, it's accepted, but, then, you can't find the 'pay now' submit button does that mean you have to wait till the taking of bids are over ?

why can't I go ahead and buy it, been accepted ?

If it's a "Buy it now" purchase it should automatically be ready to buy. Navigate your page and you should find it. As a word of caution, just like with any on line purchase do your due diligance when purchasing or selling on Ebay. Always try to look at reviews and seller's rating as this will tell you all you need to know. Ebay stands behind you as a buyer or seller, but it can still bite you in the -ss if you are not careful.

This is for Make an Offer...Not sure about bidding on an offer..sorry

Once it is Accepted You have bought it...It is billed automatically. It should have mentioned that when you placed your bid..That has been my experience

If you're just bidding on an item, you have to wait until the auction is over to pay.  If you're outbid before the auction is over, you will get an email telling you this, and you can then bid again.  I always wait until there is only 40 seconds left in the auction to bid, and then I almost always get the item.

@SharkE

I’m curious too?

Did eBay accept your bid and if so, was it the winning bid?

Or did you opt for the "buy it now" price?

The bidding must be over before a sale can be done thru bidding.

If you are the highest bidder when the auction is over, your payment will be automatically processed if eBay has your credit card information.

You should get an email that says you won the bidding with a pay now button to click on.

If you only just place a bid and it is the highest right now you will have to wait unitl the bidding time ends.  Your bid maybe topped before it closes.  Then you would get the email you have won.

Yeah, just bought a few things and just bought it didn't wraggle over the price.

This time I put in a bid, guy told me it was accepted,

and so I go back to the page to click on 'pay now' and it's not there.  I emailed him back and he just said

"the bid is just now accepted"  so, after some f*rting around I figured out guess I have to wait till Thurs.

Yeah, my credit card is in there.
