@SharkE. Sounds like your bid was ACCEPTED but the auction is not yet over...you have not won the bid yet.  You will be notified if you win.

OK, I thought if you had the money, bid was accepted,

you was across the finish line.  Now, I have to wait 23 hrs.   I'm the only bidder, nobody else wants the DVD

I should just be able to check out.

shoot.............

On the Buy it now items @SharkE just put anything you may be interested in on your watch list and most times the Seller will email you with a better offer.  Usually have 24 to 48 hrs to accept.  I never buy anything without doing that first.

Yeah, just bought a few things and just bought it didn't wraggle over the price.

This time I put in a bid, guy told me it was accepted,

and so I go back to the page to click on 'pay now' and it's not there.  I emailed him back and he just said

"the bid is just now accepted"  so, after some f*rting around I figured out guess I have to wait till Thurs.

Yeah, my credit card is in there.

@SharkE

If your BID was accepted, fine.  The auction still continues to the end time and others may still place bids.

If your OFFER was accepted, it would guide you to the Pay Now button.

if it was me I'd grab the offer and not beat around the bush. Bird in the hand and all that.

If you were notified that you won the bid then you shouldn't have to wait till the bidding is over. The fact that you won the bid makes the bidding over. Now did it say you actually won the item or that you are currently the highest bidder? If it said you're currently the highest bidder then you'll have to wait till the bidding is over. I never bid for items anymore, it was too stressful. I stick with Buy It Now or make an offer. If you're just getting started with eBay, make sure you always buy from a very highly rated seller and one that has lots of sales. I personally try to keep my seller rating at 99.7%. If they've got 10,000 Plus sales and the rating is still over 99%, I'll usually purchase but my goal is to keep it at 99.7% positive rating.
