@Patriot3 wrote:Does anyone else find this a little disgusting......why is it that in beach volleyball the men wear tank tops and shorts to their knees and the women wear skimpy bikinis w/their rears hanging out? I don't know, I'm old and just don't see the need to exploit women's bodies that way. The reason I will not watch women's beach volleyball. Just my opinion, folks.
NO.

Well, I have had many a wedgie in my day and they are dang uncomfortable.
So I think those ladies should get a gold medal for that alone. :-D
How you feeling today, @Mellie32? :-)

It would be nice to have as much self confidence as these ladies. I'm the one who always grabbed something to cover my swimsuit when I walked to the snack bar. (or anywhere for that matter)
Still, I think a bit more coverage on the bottom would be more comfortable for playing sports. There have been a few less than flattering shots.
Either most of these ladies are extremely flat chested or they have their breasts bound tightly.

No one is saying they aren't fit and attractive. But to me it IS odd why they aren't wearing shorts at least, they can be shorter than the men. They could be dressed more like the female runners. And it seems the bikinis are getting skimpier.

Oh no! Don't look! Two Australian and two American women showing skin on the beach tonight!

If I looked like Kerri Walsh-Jennings in a bikini I'd save a fortune on clothes! (And on chilly days I'd just slip on a Logo cardigan!)

They are wearing what's comfortable for them to play in. Watch the sport and not what they're wearing.
