I won't be watching.
Another poster mentioned the Little Women show on Lifetime. I have no desire to watch that one, either.

PCOS is a very complex disorder. It often results in a woman not ovulating. It also can result in a higher risk of diabetes and other metabolic issues like heart disease.
Metformin is used to treat it, and may result in the woman ovulating. This is a positive if she ever wants to get pregnant. So, even if not diabetic, the drug has had some success in treating PCOS.
Lack of ovulation can result in abnormalities in getting periods, and a higher risk of uterine cancer later on.
My daughter has been diagnosed with it. She also has high cholesterol at 27. She takes birth control pills to regulate her periods.
If I were your friend, I would take her doctor's advice! She should look into this more.

No. I'm not interested in any more reality shows of any ilk, personal issues or otherwise.
Frankly, even though I know it's 'cheap' TV, I wish networks would go back to finding talented writers and actors and create scripted shows that actually are entertaining... and aren't merely entertaining compared to what else is being offered...
