While I am usually not a man of few words, this will be an exception. We do not agree, and with that I do agree. I feel its best to say no more.

If you go down page 1 of CC on any given day, you can certainly move, in your head, a good number of threads to other forums. For example, what has already been mentioned: threads on cherries, antipasto, holidays, fashion, paint, and on and on. Now that you have mentally done that, tell me what's left on page 1 of CC.
The problem is... we are so restricted in what we can talk about in CC, if threads were moved to their appropriate forum, people would then start complaining that the same threads were on page 1 day after day, without anything new. Remember, this isn't the old Viewpoints where a lot of new topics, including controversial topics with lively discussion, could be posted without risk of being deleted. We no longer have that.
I think this is another case of be careful what you ask for.
@SaRina, If this is the case (your first paragraph) then, perhaps, there's no need for "Community Chat." Or, perhaps, it could be consolidated with "Among Friends."
Regading being careful what we ask for... just my opinion, but I don't see how it hurts at all for us to ask these questions or present our perspectives about the Community. In the end, as we saw with the change to this new platform a couple of years ago, QVC will make the decision. Before they made the switch, they offered surveys... but they did it in such a way that not many even knew about the surveys and the new platform certainly doesn't reflect the suvey results they published, such as they were.

@dooBdoo, when I said "be careful what you ask for", I was referring specifically to posters who want threads to be moved to more appropriate forums. These posters may regret having this come to pass because there will be little left of CC. I don't think posters would be happy consolidating CC with Among Friends because AF was created to be a kinder place to post. There will be more complaining about that.
The complaining will be endless. You just can't please everyone. :-)

The posters who are often most insistent and vocal that threads should be moved may find their threads moved; simple as that. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

@SaRina you make a good point in that if removed, the CC board will be much slower. It will in effect, balance the boards. I don't think I'll worry about what I'm asking for because I already make a concerted effort to post accordingly and I don't see much of a problem.
I also find it's good to get out from some of the "usual" posters to get pov's. Some folk stick to certain categories and don't venture far off from one to the other. I do, though. I post in a lot of sub categories, like fashion, shoes, handbags, jewelry, travel, among friends, electronics (not often) as well as the CC.
It could work fine for anyone if it does for me.
