How awful.  It's awful no matter what, but I cannot stand drunk drivers.

Drunk drivers do more harm than injuring innocent victims.  They wipe out whole families, killing everyone in a vehicle.  We read about it over and over.  They get their wrists slapped with a minimal jail sentence, then return to the streets with their lethal weapon (car) to do it again.  We don't allow murderers to own or use guns; why do we let drunks have cars?

Happy she'll be ok. God was surely watching over her, this could have had a totally different outcome. Bless her heart.

I hope they throw the book at the woman who decided to drink and get behind the wheel. 

My family and I were rear ended by a jerk using his phone. We all were ok but have had aches and pains. I got scared when our son said he couldn't breath. Bad timing for me because of other medical conditions the doctor couldn't help my neck much.

We all got treatment for 3 months. But I don't think we'll ever be the same physically. 

His Porsche got more damage than our suv, this is one reason I like bigger vehicle's.
