93 here and very humid - we are going to eat out rather than heat up the house cooking something. It is supposed to rain overnight tonight then be lower temp & humidity for a few days.

Good for you and others over there!  It's been very humid here, more tropical.  But not too hot;  just balmy, humid, sort of like Hawaii on 'cooler' days.

I must admit .... I'm jealous.    Our drought in California continues and a beautiful weekend of lazy rain sounds just heavenly.  Today, it will be 94 and sunny.  I miss the rain.

We've had lots of rain this week but today has turned out to rather nice. After overcast skies most of day the sun has finally come out. More rain tomorrow but I'll take a bit of sun this afternoon. We've a swim meet later on and it'll be nice not to worry about showers!

Southern WV is wet and soggy this afternoon with very heavy showers.   Rain has definitely been plentiful for us this summer.

          Nice thread, @Noel7!   I'm so happy you (and others who need it) are seeing some welcome rain.   We're still in the midst of extremely hot weather, with not enough rain but we're certainly not experiencing the levels of drought as some other locales.  Sending positive vibes out to all!    I hope everyone here is having a good day!
