For me personally, none of them are. I don't spend much time watching QVC and the shows I do usually watch aren't based on the host. I only watch QVC when there's a show on with products I might buy, like a Philosophy, WEN, or Josie Maran show, so those hosts rotate a lot. I watch That's Cool with Jane, but it's not on very often. For any show I watch on a regular basis, like the ones listed above and Friday Night Beauty, I record them so that I can fast forward through the parts I'm not interested in and then see an hour's worth of product in 10-15 minutes.

If I just want something on for background noise, I'm more likely to turn on the History Chanel, Travel Channel, of the Discovery (ANY) channel, or PBS than I am QVC. Better I learn something and save some money. Smiley Wink

I think that if QVC lost David Venable, a lot of his In the Kitchen with David fans would be crushed.

Mary Beth is my favorite.  I sure miss Kathy Levine, Steve Bryant, Judy and Paul..  so much more fun back then.. the Gold Rush and Halloween shows were the bomb!!!

I don't watch enough of QVC to consider any of the hosts indispensible. QVC's profits are down.....maybe they ought to re-think their hosts along with the stale products shown every other day..... I think the entire company needs a re-haul including many of their hosts.

I really don't watch QVC often.  When I want background noise, I play music.  When I am watching Nova, History Channel, etc., I want to play close attention.  When I am reading, I just enjoy quiet.

I get my entertainment from my husband and our cat, a Maine Coon, who is quite the character.

Re: Indispensible QVC Hosts

[ Edited ]

I do not watch much QVC anymore either!  I have hardly had it on this year, also preferring to watch other programs like PBS, news or movies!

The Q has just become overbearing and boring, but my favorite hosts that do NOT make me turn the channel are Mary Beth, Leah, Carolyn, Jill, Rachel and Antonella!  Until the Q makes changes and have better and more interesting products at reasonable prices, then I won't be watching these hosts either!

I have dreams about odd little things in my life all the time.  That's what makes them dreams.

I rarely have dreams about consequential things, things of importance....or my interests, world affairs, important issues.  When I do, they are usually scary dreams we call nightmares.

I don't see anything unusual or wrong about a person having a dream about some television program that's been watched.

No need to make a person feel silly about having a dream like that.  We're all on these boards right now, aren't we?  And we're not here to talk brain surgery.

I'm not sure what you mean by gap.  There are no indespensible Qvc hosts, we found that out when Lisa Robertson left.  I assume "gap" means hosts that we would miss if..when they leave.  I don't watch much Qvc tv anymore, I haven't for several years now.  So, honestly while there are hosts that I prefer watching and I like the old time hosts....I wouldn't miss anyone of them if they left.  I wouldn't even know...I'd only know from this board.  I'm a Qvc shopper, I'm not a fan and I don't watch any shopping channel to be entertained.

The only time I watch is when I'm up at 3 AM.  And it's usually background sound while I'm getting ready for work and because I'm waiting for the local news to come on at 4 AM  Smiley Happy

Oh dear.  To stay on topic, I have to agree these two hosts do a great job and are a big asset to QVC.  Of course, If I wanted to be naughty, one might say that all people who read these posts and comment might be considered as lacking a hobby.  But why would I sink to that and ruin a cheerful, pleasant comment.

You aren't fooling anyone, you did sink to that.
