I can post for the minute attention MODS

What gives with the

Request Entity Too Large message, it comes up so randomly. I am getting frustrated are there plans to fix this.

This board is no longer fun, fix the issue or lose lots of posters

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

Hi @I am still oxox, the IT department has told us this was fixed, you just had to delete your cookies and maybe change browsers. However other posters are still having difficulty and this issue was sent to IT again today.

@Anonymous

That is insane, delete cookies is the answer given when they do not know. The fact that it is happening so randomly and not every time or for the same function makes me think there is much more happening

Thank you for the answer and this is frustrating

I think some posters here don't understand about periodically needing to clear out cookies, or how to do so.

@I am still oxoxyou are correct, I worked for a short time in the IT Dept. for a large transportation Co. and it was the advice we would give out when one of our dept's was haveing problems with customers about computer issues. Although it is good to clean out your cookies every once in a while, it's most likly not the problem.  It's almost always something on the "company" end that they can't figure out.

Re: I can post for the minute attention MODS

It is aggravating but changing browsers works.  It's a QVC systems issue so I'm not about to delete cookies which I have never had to do for any other site at any time since I been using a computer.  That definitely is not the problem.  Shoplc has the same issue but I don't encounter it when I use Firefox.  So, when I can remember to do so, I use that as my browser for QVC and Shoplc.

up top of your computer page should be a listing that says 'History'

click on that and hit delete. Mine is on upper left. I have Ccleaner installed (free app from filehippo) that with one click will clean cookies, histories, unnecessary temp files, etc. and keep your pc running faster without all the clutter.

A clean pc is a happy pc.

@151949    Why is it this problem(s) with the QVC website is only HERE... and no other website( and that is a lot of websites) have any issue  like this or say  that if you do, it is your computer... your problem .... and YOUR COOKIES. ?????
