It has been very windy, hate wind, some days gray, today there is sun, but the wind makes it cool. I shouldn't complain because according to the extended weather report at this point, July and August will be mostly 90's with some 80's, dreading this like the plague!

@Mary Bailey I am right behind you as I just got through grilling off some asparagus for the next couple of days when the humidity rolls in along with these high temperatures. I still have the balcony door open but I know today will be the last day for a while . . . try and stay comfortable my friend!

I'm in Minnesota. Yesterday it was 101, currently it is 61.

We had severe storms with hail and 70mph winds come through about two hours ago.

it is pretty darn hot here.....92 degrees in the baltimore area (with the heat index higher than that) and supposed to be hotter tomorrow. it will be several full days of air conditioning for sure.

@sunshine45 - not sure the year of the humidifiers - mine that was recalled I had over a year. Google dehumidifier recall and please check your models!

@Carriestp - yikes! That hot in MN? Wow - we are cooler south of you here in Indiana. Those storms will sure cool it down, but bring in the humidity too.

It is 90 in North Jersey.

I am not too hot as long as I stay very still and type with one finger only.

Muggy here in HI! 83 will be the high today with PM showers (hence, the mugginess).
