It depends. In college, one of my closest friends just disappeared, and it hurt me for many years. He called 16 years later, and when he refused to give me any answers beyond having "issues," he cut the call short. A line on a tv show about never getting closure kind of flipped a switch, and it was truly put in the past.
In 2004 and 2005, two friends dropped me in the same fashion, but it was the greatest blessing. One had a hidden agenda in using me for my celeb contacts. The other would have dragged me into her endless dramas if we'd stayed in touch. Phew.

Sigh. Plaid Pants2 if you feel the that my posts aren't worth your time, why do you keep posting and commenting? I find it extremely interesting how you didn't post on my Can we Start over Thread a few weeks back. I was extending an olive branch and apologizing to everyone here who I may have offended in a thread I had started earlier in the day. You were an active participant in that thread of course.

There are different types of rejection. There is romantic rejection as well as job rejection. As for the first, take one day at a time, keep active and try not to dwell on the person who rejected you. If it's the second, pick your self up and keep trying, never give up.
