Re: How Is the T P Brigade Doing This Weekend?

I stash (not hoard, jmho) rolls where DH wont get his meathooks into them-in case we lose power during a hurricane (I live in Hurricane Alley).

I guess my logic is, if I have it I wont need it. Hoping that is the case.

Right now, each bathroom is stocked with 8 rolls of toilet paper, and I have 60 rolls on the storage shelf.   Anytime I am in the grocery store, I always buy TP, as you can never have too much.

I guess the one question we could ask ourselves is, how did we get started doing this?  I learned it from my mother who thought you could never have enough of anything.  Every year she would buy half a cow and they would also include so much chicken and pork too.  To offset the price it was our "joy" to help wrap the meat.

I'm delighted to report that I got two gallons of milk today!

As an aside, when I opened the trunk of the car, I discovered that I had forgotten about a 12 pack of paper towels, sitting abandoned there scowling at me for letting them sit there in a hot trunk for three days after a trip to Sam's Club.  We're good until December!  Woman LOL

@MyGirlsMom No napkins, but we do have two boxes of Kleenex in the car!  I never thought of keeping paper towels in there too.  Now look what you've started!

Oh, while I'm at it, the second pack of paper towels is now crammed into my coat closet.  Hardly any room for coats now!  I need to join a support group.  Woman LOL

Now listen up girlfriend! I'm never less than two feet away from paper products in my house and car.  I have (ahem) Puffs in the back seat and front seat in the car.  Two rolls of paper towel in the trunk and napkins in the glove compartment.

Woman LOL

I used to keep bottled water in the trunk during winter months too.  GUESS what?!  Hubby found water in white paper containers (like milk cartons.) woo hoo.

Re: How Is the T P Brigade Doing This Weekend?

Good news, @TP Hoarders!  My local supermarket has a half-off sale on a 12-pack of double rolls this week, but it's not my preferred brand (Scott).  I'll probably get at least one to put at the back of the cabinet in terms of the supply chain.
