I made a terrible Girl Scout! I'm not prepared! I also don't understand the run on the food stores before a big storm! Weren't people planning on eating those days, anyway! I get running out of milk or bread, but clearing the shelves every time a storm is predicted...what were people planning on eating if it weren't going to storm?

@Bird mama wrote:All jokes aside, I really do like to have spare TP, paper towel and kleenex on hand because it never fails - when I need it, it's not on sale.
You should see how I stockpile when winter's coming in Michigan.
Wow, that reminds me, I need some pigeon food. Better make note of that.
I also stockpile my bird food.
My guess is that we don't run out because dh insists on buying the cheap I paper, you know, the kind that doubles as sand paper!

Girl, I'm prepping for a colonoscopy on Labor Day. I bought a 6 pack last weekend and should have gone for the mambo 24 pack that was on sale, rofl.
Oh no I don't think you have enough, you may have to get a couple rolls of Scotts. Good luck Monday.
😳Oh no! Not THAT brand! For prepping, I get baby wipes with Aloe! The extra soft kind!😉

And I buy the Charmin Mega Plus. Each roll is the size of a basketball. Times 12 rolls, times 2 packs. I have three 12 packs in our closet right now and 4 loose rolls in each bathroom, in the cabinet.
There are two of us living here.
I'm convinced they just wrap those looser!😉

Just thought of another thing I need to add to my list. There's a Kmart not far from my Pet Supplies Plus that sells the Hagen pigeon food.
Of all the things I hoard, top of the list is Cheer Free (liquid). Only Kmart carries it locally. I buy those big gallon (or larger) bottles of it.
This thread is really helping me out with my shopping list.
I used to love the liquid Ivory Snow! Nobody sells it here anymore! Oh, we were on T.P weren't we! Never mind!

Oh My goodness, this thread is hysterical.
I also must have quite a bit of TP on hand. DH has always been supportive of hoarding TP. He has memories of trying to hoard TP in Vietnam when they sent just small little packages of TP that he carried in his ammo can. If one ran out of TP out in the bush, well there was only leaves as an option. LOL!
Now that ladies will motivate anyone to stock up when one can!!!
I showed him the pictures and we both laughed. I am now inspired!!

One summer my sisters and myself were buying things for our niece who was going to Europe for the first time..backpacking. Well, one of the things I KNEW she would need was tp! She thought I was strange but I told her she would thank me later. I think it was a four pack of Charmin. ![]()

See @MyGirlsMom....there are certainly reasons to be prepared! It is like being a good Girl Scout!! lol
BTW, I will silly enough that I asked DH why in the world keep it in a ammo can? His response? The ammo cans were waterproof. Duh.
