I live in Georgia. There are a lot of productions/films made here. Ozxark and Stranger Things. My daughter said some time last year they were filing in the mall she works out. I don't remember the name of the actors though. More of the "younger" scene actors. On the local news in the morning, there is a segment for casting calls. My husband went to one.

It can be very interesting to watch what really goes on behind the camera, and how involved it can be.
How many days were they there?

@Tinkrbl44 They were scheduled to be here two weeks. We watched them 5 days last week. It was an adventure.

And THANK YOU @On It for turning this forum space into an adventure for us as well! I looked and looked closely at Matthew (he's so cute lol) and thought he looks SO good in his film attire lol. He honestly looks like he fits right into those scenes! What fun you must have had, and again thanks for sharing these GREAT pictures! Love the explanations too!![]()

We only watched part of the filming. Scenes involving the evacuation of residential streets were filmed. The residential streets are narrow and winding. We did not go to those locations. I know they were supposed to do filming inside a residence in an established neighborhood that had not been updated. They wanted original features.
The casting calls were for real firefighters. EMT's, and first responders. They also wanted people with cars to film the evacuation scenes. Streets were blocked for 10 minutes or so. Dumpsters were moved to avoid being on camera. The schools advised bus schedules would be impacted causing some delays. There was a lot happening all at once all over the village.

Well wow! @On It!
Between the movie filming and your wild animals all over, you live in a very exciting and wonderful place!
I love reading and seeing all your incredible photos.
Thanks so much again for sharing it all with all of us!![]()

Thanks for sharing all of this with us @On It . Such fun to see! (particularly Matthew, ha ha).
In New Orleans it's not unusual to run into filming of movies or TV shows and what amazes me is the sheer amount of vehicles and equipment that they have with them. Filming in the city they often have to park on the street, and there will be blocks and blocks and blocks of vehicles to support the shooting of one scene.
I'll be keeping my eyes out for this film, too!

Thank you so much for posting the lovely pictures and explaining what was happening. You live in a lovely place![]()
