Re: Has anyone purchased the Mrs. Prindables apples and received them?

My nephew is coming down from Canada to the South for Christmas and has planned to visit us.  He has 3 children and I was trying to think of a healthy, but child acceptable treat for his children, so I thought about the Mrs. Prindables apples.

The reviews I've seen aren't favorable.  Has anyone ordered them and tried them yet?

Every year for the past 7 - 8 years, I have taken Mrs. Prindables apples to work at Christmas time, to share with my co-workers.

They have always been a big hit, and this year was no exception.

I'm more of a reader than a writer but just from observing over time hollysunshine's usual replies on a subject matter, her nickname should really be changed to hollyraincloud.

Not really. There is a lot of sugar in an apple.

An apple is a very healthy food. Loads of fibre and Vitamin C. I eat them often. My weight is low, so is my cholesteral. Nothing wrong with the sugar in an apple.

Re: Has anyone purchased the Mrs. Prindables apples and received them?

waiting for our order that is due the week of the 16th i believe.

i have always had great apples from mrs prindables. the only year i was disappointed was the year i had them sent to southern california. it happened to be a warmer year during that period of time and some of the apples were bad and had melted chocolate and caramel. qvc was great about issuing me a  full refund.

they keep well in our garage this time of the year. i dont even put them in the refrigerator. i like having them around for a quick gift.

@Georgiagrama  I ended up ordering the apple in the picture that I sent to you plus some white choc. and milk choc pretzels.  Yes, shipping for 1 to 2 day delivery was $12.50.

@Katcat1  Well, that apple looks delicious and the white chocolate sounds amazing.  I know you will enjoy them, even with that "ouch" shipping charge - Oh, and thank you for being so nice.

I did a search for Mrs. Prindables last week here at Q.  I'm a fan of the simpler Mrs. Prindables apples with caramel and nuts.  I wish they had those this year.  Maybe they had them earlier, and I just missed them.  I had some last year and they were delicious.  We'd cut one up and share as a snack or dessert since they are so big.  Yummy Smiley Happy

I'd have a lot of various treats available for the kids. Christmas cookies, Christmas candies, hot chocolate with whipped cream and mini marshmallows, egg nog, Coke, Pepsi, etc.   Smiley Happy

It's part of the fun and I'm sure the kids are hoping you'll have some "good stuff" for them to eat.
