I feel sort of beat up here and definitely should not have responded.  I am very sorry I shared a bad experience with those apples.

I must have misunderstood what was expected of responders to this post.  I promise to be more careful in the future.

Sooner, you shouldn't apologize for your comments. They help balance the equation.

@Georgiagrama   Do you have a local candy store?  Or if you live near a mall with Saks Fifth Ave. or Neiman as they may have a dept. that sells goodies.  Graham Chocolates is about 15 or 18 miles from me but they have they best Truffles, chocolates, taffy apples.  Check them out online but shipping is on the high side.

@Katcat1  There is a wonderful candy shop in Savannah called Savannah Sweets, however, I'd have to have them shipped (I live in a rural area) and, the apples and shipping would be cost prohibitive for me. The closest to me is a wonderful do nut shop, but I don't want to send the children on a major sugar high.Smiley LOL  My house is too small! Smiley LOL

@Georgiagrama   I lived in Savannah for many years. I purchased an apple from Riverstreet Sweets once but it was not nearly as good as Mrs. Prindables apples. Your family will love these apples. Just put them in the refrigerator when they come and before serving take them out for about 30 minutes. Let them sit then you can cut in wedges and enjoy. Happy holidays!

You might cut apples into wedges and  make a carmel dip for them. I know  lot of people do this..

@Sooner I think posters appreciate knowing your experiences with products so there's no reason to apologize. Overall, it seems the apples are popular with kids and grandkids. I stopped buying them when they changed my favorite coatings to sprinkles.

Re: Has anyone purchased the Mrs. Prindables apples and received them?

I received my order last week, and they arrived in perfect condition.  Mine are covered in carmel with chocolate and other flavored sweet chips.  I order them every year and have never had an issue. I always refrigerate them and they stay fresh several weeks.  They are very sweet, but as others have said, just cut them in slices and limit the amount you want the children to have.

Re: Has anyone purchased the Mrs. Prindables apples and received them?

@Sooner  I hope I didn't make you feel bad!!!  You posted your experience with the apples, and, that is after all, what I asked for.

And, you posted your suggestions for treats for the children. Nothing wrong there either.

Others have just had a better experience than you, so they posted that.  Exactly what I asked for as well.  Although, I must say I am relieved that there have been so many positive responses.

It's the responses that have no information to offer but feel that they need to make a negative remark that I think others dislike. I know I do.

At any rate, please do not feel like you are being beat up. You didn't like them, others do.  Ultimately, I did decide to try them. I think my great nieces and nephews and my granddaughter will enjoy them.  At least, I am hoping so.  I am really looking forward to my visit with them.
