That is a good point @Marp.  I know some, but not all of them.  Another thing to place on my "to-do list".  But it is very important.  Not to mention, that even if you have memorized some numbers I would think in the middle of the emergency or right after one might be rattled enough that it would be hard to recall the number right away.  

 

I imagine some of those people that escaped the situation in Paradise with their cars melting were pretty rattled once they got to safety!

My family members only text and do not even have their phones programmed so you can leave messages or answer when they ring. The older members of the family have flip phones and do not text..

I understand this, but there are some family members that would call and ask for money, if they knew my number. It might sound heartless, but you don't know this particular family member. I DO have the number of most of my other relatives.
